WELCOME

Hello and Welcome to the Women’s Wellness Association, we are so pleased to welcome you here.  We are passionate about women’s wellbeing, self-development and living a fulfilled life. We believe that women are different to men and this is recognised at a professional sporting level, but not at a level that counts.  We know that women are not just different, our physiological differences actually give us the edge if you know how to tap into them.

 

Infact, we believe that women have the ability to create and achieve the lives that they want and want to be there to inspire and empower them, but in a world where we are all treated as being the same, with the same advice given to people across the board, based on averages, and not the person and how they are feeling is ultimately stopping us from being who we want to be and living a life we love.

 

The truth is, we are all as different on the inside as we are on the outside and whilst prescriptive advice may be great for some people, it doesn’t work for everyone and learning how to read your body telling you when something is working and when it is the best way forwards.  Infact, once you start listening to your body, and discovering how to read what she is telling you, you will start being able to achieve so much more.

 

We also believe in building supportive communities because it is hard to do things on your own, and teaming up with supportive people who want you to succeed and not dwell on negativity is key.  We believe that creating accountability and positive partnerships with other like-minded people can help you achieve more than struggling to working through things on your own.

  • You follow the same diet that worked for your friends or that has been recommended in a news or magazine article, but it doesn’t work for you.

 

  • You decide that you are going to go on a diet and buy in all the “right” food but when you get home ready to cook a new healthy dinner, you have no idea what to do, feel overwhelmed and end up ordering a pizza instead.

 

  • You want to get more active but you just don’t have the motivation to follow through.

 

  • You want to learn more about self development, health and wellness but there is just so much information out there that is both overwhelming and often very expensive.

  • You understand that being a woman can actually work to your advantage and want to learn more about how to use that advantage to better your life and those around you.

  • You’d like some tools to get started on your wellness and self-development journey, that are easy to implement and not ridiculously expensive.

 

  • You are fed up of being told what to do when it never seems to work and want to take responsibility for your life and work out what works with some support and guidelines on how to do this.

We want to help you understand the signals your body sends you when it’s working well and when it isn’t so you can start making the decisions that work for you.

 

We want to create a community of positive women who help and support each other.
